Communication
Overview
St. Cyril of Alexandria School believes that good communication between parents, staff and administration is essential. The communication is accomplished in several ways:
weekly School Expresses, parent/teacher conferences, online student information through RenWeb, office flatscreen, phone calls/emails from staff, department meetings, parent evening meeting, student work signed by parents, written discipline plans signed by parents, parental involvement in the classroom, on the boards and on committees, mid-trimester progress reports, trimester evaluations
*Note: As children age and grow, faculty and staff wean students off of some parental communication and therefore develop student responsibility.
RenWeb
RenWeb is our online information system. It organizes grades, calendars, announcements, lunch ordering, finances and more. Teachers may post assingment specific info to their webpage in RenWeb. Parents and students are given a username and password once enrolled.
Cougar Tracks
Cougar Tracks is our weekly newsletter that is sent home on Wednesday in the School Express. To be "greener," we give families the option of receving this newsletter through email in place of a paper copy. It is also posted on RenWeb and below.
If you have any questions about the newsletter, please call the School Office at (520) 881-4240 or email rachelu@stcyril.com. To view these documents you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software. It's FREE. Justclick the Get Acrobat Reader logo.
