Lend a hand to homebound neighbors
Feel great, meet new friends, and make a difference. Interfaith Community Services (ICS) always needs and welcomes volunteers in our Caregiving Services office, who are interested in helping seniors and disabled individuals by:
- Driving them to medical appointments or the grocery store.
-
Calling them daily to check on their welfare or less frequently for a friendly chat.
-
Helping them read their mail, pay their bills or organize paperwork.
-
Doing minor home repairs.
Tell us what interests you, how much or how little time you want to give and when you’re available. Warning: Our volunteers’ enthusiasm and our clients’ appreciation is contagious! Contact ICS Volunteer Resources Manager/Northwest Faith Outreach Sandi Brickley at 297-2738 x217 or sbrickley@icstucson.org. You, and we, will be glad you did.
