Student Council's music video of Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror"

As introduced to the school on Monday, January 30, 2012...

This year's theme for Catholic Schools Week focuses on three priorities of Catholic schools that make them stand out from other educational institutions…faith, academics and service.

We are taught faith – not just the basics of Christianity, but how to have a relationship with God. Academics, which in Catholic schools are held to the highest standards and service, the giving of one’s time and effort to help others as an expression of both faith and good citizenship.

Today, we celebrate the student population. To recognize our creativity, enthusiasm and potential, we, the Student Council, have created a music video with what we believe has an important message. Each day on the news, the headlines of events, both here in our local community and on the global scale, often paint a grim outlook for the world we live in. We have the power to change this. And in order to make the world a better place – we each have to first take a look at ourselves and then make the change. We hope you enjoy our video….
