COOKING
What really happens.
Applying heat to food, and chemically changing it.

Cooking is really just one big
chemical change occuring, and the food changes chemical structure and appearance.

Cooking is both simple, and complex. It is simply applying heat to food and serving it, but at the same time, it is scientific reactions occuring while heating.

Cooks are really scientists.

Think about the difference of a raw fish sitting on your plate, and next to it is a piece of cooked fish. They look very very different. One has  just been taken from  the freexer and put on a plate. The other, had been transformed!! Through all the heating, it is chemically changing the food, but also killing the bacteria, making it safer to eat.

Besides all the heat needed to cook, there are other components too. You can add spices, add flavor, chop it up, and selectively combining different measurments to add to your creation.

Cooking is the application of heat to food, to change it and make it eatable. But not all food must be hated to be prepared, and/or eaten.
