Persons Active in Learning Situations (PALS) Program

The PALS Program plays an important role in our school community by providing direct support to educational programs and school events thereby lowering the cost of tuition.

All St. Cyril of Alexandria School families are expected to participate in the PALS Program by volunteering in PALS positions. A Service Substitution Fee of $1050 will be assessed at the beginning of the year, if you are not able to fulfill a PALS Service commitment. NOTE: ALL PALing positions require Diocese of Tucson compliance. The compliance clearance process takes an average of thirty (30) days. Please plan accordingly. Sarah Navarrette, our compliance officer, can be reached at sarahn@stcyril.com for more information regarding the compliance process.

PALS Annual Auction

Our most important fundraiser of the year is the PALS Annual Auction. This community building event includes dinner, dancing, and great fun packed into one exciting evening. Each year, proceeds are earmarked to fund a variety of needs for the school which directly benefit students. The Auction for the 2026-27 school year is Saturday, November 21, 2026. An Annual Auction fee of $200 which includes two (2) tickets to the event will be assessed to all families at the beginning of the year. 

After Care Program

The After Care Program is a safe and supervised place for any student whose parent is delayed for pickup after 3:15 p.m. The After Care rate is $10 per hour per child. The program is open until 5:15 p.m. (after 5:15pm there will be a $1.00/minute/child fee assessed with a 15 minute minimum charge). Snacks are provided in the aftercare program for an additional cost of $1 per snack item. These charges are billed on a monthly basis.

** Accounts must be kept in good standing in order to continue using this service.

Lunch Program

Our lunch program is provided through Dishes2U and pricing is based on the vendor providing each day's lunch. However, in the event a student does not have a lunch , students may come to the office to receive three snack items of their choice plus a bottle of water. The fee for the office lunch is $5 and is billed monthly.​​

Sports Program

Our Sports program is open to students in grades 4-8. Sports teams of 5th-8th graders participate in the Diocese of Tucson League in boys and girls basketball and volleyball during the fall and winter seasons. Track & Field and Cross Country in the spring season is open to all 4th-8th graders. The fee is $125 per season, subject to change.
